Raw dc Supply PCB Kit for use with Rod Coleman DHT Filament Regulator

NEW! a PCB and some of the parts to make a raw dc Supply for your "Rod Coleman" DHT Filament Regulators are now available as a kit.

Main Features of the Raw dc Kit:

• 2A version or 5A Version.
• 2x PCB 170 x 18mm to support raw dc for a stereo pair of Filament Regulators
• 8x Rectifier Diodes (for 2x bridge rectifiers) - 1N5822 for 2A, STPS1545FP (Isolated all-plastic TO220FP) for 5A
• The 5A DC Diodes STPS1545FP can accept TO220 clip-on heatsinks, for 3.5A+ DC load (Please buy these separately)
• 2x R-C Snubbers for Transformer Secondary Winding
• 4x Screw Terminals for Input and Output
• 2x LED with current-limit resistor
• 2x Fuse Clip sets for 20mm fuses
• Circuit follows the example given in the Regulator PDFs - and shown below.
• Cost for the raw dc Kits: GBP12 (for stereo pair), shipped with Regulator kits.

IMPORTANT - Please add your own parts (Filter Capacitors, Dropper Resistor and Fuse are NOT included in the kit):

• Electrolytic Capacitors C1, C2 - Snap-In types with 10mm lead pitch and up to 40mm diameter will fit. See PDF manual for recommended capacitor choices.
• Dropper resistors R1, R2 (or choke, if preferred).
• Fuse 20mm (F3.15 to F5A for kits up to 2A; and e.g. F6A or F10A for Transmitters)
• Diode heatsinking for high power versions, 3.5A+. Small clip-on TO220 sinks are perfect.
